One of my most asked questions is: Will there be two different titles for Rebel Witch? The answer is … kind of. (Some of you may know that Heartless Hunter is called The Crimson Moth outside of North America. You can find the reason why at the bottom of this email.)
In the UK and beyond, the sequel to The Crimson Moth will be called The Rebel Witch and, excitingly enough, I get to finally reveal its cover! Here it is…

And here are both covers together:
How pretty are these two?? I absolutely love the botanical direction that HarperCollins UK decided to go in.
Why two titles?
The Crimson Moth is the original title and was a shout-out to Rune’s signature (the translucent red moth that lingers in the air after she casts a spell) as well as a nod to my inspiration, The Scarlet Pimpernel.
My US publisher didn’t love that title and wanted to go with Heartless Hunter, which I was fine with. But my UK publisher didn’t want to change it.
So, now it has two titles. :)
In other exciting news, if you live in or near Toronto, I’ll be in conversation with MK Lobb and Nicki Pau Preto this Friday, August 2 at Indigo Yorkdale. The event starts at 6:30pm and we’ll be signing books afterwards.
Last week’s event was so much fun! Thank you to everyone who came out. I’m very much looking forward to doing it all again this Friday.

It’s so beautiful! Congratulations! I can’t wait to get my hands on it 😍
Is there an “easy” way for those of us who live in the US to order the UK book??
