Whew. The last few weeks have been a whirlwind! If you missed the news, I’ll quickly fill you in:

HEARTLESS HUNTER was an instant New York Times bestseller!

HEARTLESS HUNTER debuted on the New York Times bestseller list and the Indie bestseller list—and it’s still on the NYT list this week.

To everyone who preordered or bought the book (especially those of you who were so patient while my publisher chased down rapidly vanishing copies): YOU are the reason it landed on those lists! Thank you so much!!

That’s nice, but when can we read the SEQUEL?

This is my most asked question these days.

REBEL WITCH (Book 2) comes out on February 18, 2025. I realize that’s a year away, and I’m sorry for the wait! The book is written, but publishing is slow. And the manuscript still needs to go through a bunch of smaller edits before it can become a Real Book.

REBEL WITCH is the second and last book in the series (it’s a duology). Here’s what I can say: the book picks up pretty much right where Heartless Hunter leaves off with Gideon fulfilling the vow he makes at the end of Book 1. Stakes are raised, new alliances are forged, professions of love are made, and someone important dies. 😈 There’s also a meet-cute at gunpoint.

There’s no preorder link yet, but you can add the sequel on Goodreads. (Just don’t scroll down if you haven’t finished Heartless Hunter, because there is a massive spoiler on Rebel Witch’s main page … if someone who’s read Book 1 wants to flag it so Goodreads can hide it, please do!)

MARCH 19TH EVENT

I’ll be at the Waterloo Public Library on March 19th, in conversation with Mark Morton. There will be a book signing to follow and Words Worth Books will be on site to sell copies.
