This book has been added to my list of absolute favorites. The characters, the story, the romantic tension had me hooked from beginning to end. I’m curious to know how long took you to write the book once you started the character development and outlining?
Thanks Shayna. It took me about 3 months to write the first draft. But I had a very detailed outline to work off of + the first 50 pages or so (which made up the proposal, which is how I sold it to my publisher). :)
Just finished your book & I was obsessed from start to finish. I selected it in my BOTM membership and I am so glad I did. I found this article because I googled "When does the second Crimson Moth come out" if any indicator! Learning the writing process was a great & was my "night cap" so to speak to the story while I wait! Cant wait to read more of Gideon and Runes story. THANK YOU for the fun few days!
Thank you for a closer view of your writing process. I always enjoy an insight to how a book is written. I actually came here looking for a excerpt of The Crimson Moth, so thank you for that as well. Is there any plans to release a longer exceprt before the release? I just pre-ordered The Crimson Moth. I decided to go with the UK edition, but think both are gorgeous. Beautiful sketch as well. Did you do it?
